Food to Fit is a team of dietitians who are registered members of Saskatchewan Dietitians Association and Dietitians of Canada. Each dietitian brings unique and specialized skills to the table, ensuring you receive quality nutrition support with the most qualified dietitian to meet your needs.
Nutrition services are tailored to each unique client with a focus on sustainable outcomes that align with client goals. Step-by-step, practical adjustments to what, why, and how you eat can make vast strides to attaining confidence, balance, and optimal health or performance. We practice with a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach and we value the highest standard in nutrition assessment, planning, and counseling while listening to our clients carefully and exposing the root of their health issues, concerns, barriers, and/or goals.
Bridging gaps in health care, supporting those who may not have access to a nutrition professional within the public system
Building relationships with health professionals, athletic trainers, and local vendors in order to best serve and support our community
Advocating against diet culture and strict food rules along with the physical and emotional damage that each perpetuates
Fostering healthy relationships with food and our bodies to instill self confidence, self worth, and improved wellness (whatever that may look like to you)
Supporting client confidence around food choices, preparation, and cooking as tools to achieving and maintaining optimal health, wellness, and performance

- Vegetarian eating;
- Food allergies/sensitivies;
- Gut health including irritable bowel syndrome;

Faciliating group workshops and public speaking is a big part of my work that I love! I speak with local gyms, sport groups, community groups, corporate lunch n' learns, post secondary schools, and professional AGMs/events.
You will also find me at The Local Kitchen in Saskatoon hosting cooking classes and nutrition workshops.
I hold memberships with the Consulting Dietitians, Sport Nutrition, and Media Networks under Dietitians of Canada, and with The Centre for Mindful Eating.
In 2015, I completed Dietitians of Canada/Sport Dietitians Australia Intensive Sport Nutrition Course in Calgary, AB.
Recently, I have focused my continued education on the low FODMAPs diet for irritable bowel syndrome, and expanding knowledge and counseling skills related to mindful/intuitive eating.
I've had the privilege of working with Huffington Post, Best Health Magazine, Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Toronto Tonic, The Globe and Mail, and continue as a regular guest on Saskatoon's Global Morning News. I have been a media spokesperson for Dietitians of Canada since March 2014.
I'm a local food advocate and enjoy cooking! I consider myself a passable home cook with a passion for creating easy, healthful, and yummy family meals - if I can make them so can you! Recipes are shared as part of our Blog under Weekday Meals.
